Engraving in a nutshell

• The laser brings out the base colour, which is the colour under the top varnish.
• Most lacquered products will have a copper-gold engraving; we will be happy to let you know what engraving will your chosen product have – call us or send us an email!
• In case of steel products, the laser “burns” the surface, leaving an oxidized black-gray engraving; sometimes the shade will fall into brown; the colour of the engraving depends on the material of which the personalized part of the pen is made.
• We usually engrave the body of the pen, or the cap. If you’re thinking of a different place and have your own idea – send us an e-mail. We’ll let you know if we’re able to bring your idea to life!
• The engraved text or graphic cannot be wiped/rubbed off – it is very durable.
• Each engraving is unique – our employee individually matches the parameters each time.
• Therefore, if you’d like to have two engravings of the exact same size – order them together.
• Sometimes the engraving seems like print – it is ok! The laser scrapes off a very thin layer of the varnish.
• The engraving might slightly differ from the visualisation – it is not a mistake.
• to technical reasons, we do not engrave some surfaces and materials; the technology is not suitable to be used with all products.

Engraved plate – what is it?

• Are you a parent? Write a few words „straight from the heart” for your kid’s birthday, educational milestone or any important events in their life.
• Are you a student? Say your „thanks” for the care, knowledge and time spent together. Add a wise sentence about education. Express your gratitude.
• Are you an employer? Prepare jubilee gifts for your employees, as well as promotion and retirement gifts.
• Are you a businessman, politician? We’ll be happy to be a part of your image campaign. The plate will be a souvenir from our cooperation.

Engraving and a plate – design it yourself

• Click the „ADD ENGRAVING” or „ADD AN ENGRAVED PLATE” tab, which will take you to a subpage, where you can visualize your idea. Have fun and design your own engraving/engraved plate. You can choose the font, placement, and size of everything you’d like to put on it. It’s really easy! Our system will guide you through all the options and steps.
• Would you like to use your own idea and engrave a graphic/logotype? Our employees are ready to help you – they will answer all your questions, prepare a visualisation and send it to you for acceptance. Then, we wait for your e-mail approval before proceeding with the order.
• Before you go through with your engraved order – read the text, correct all the typos; placing the order means accepting it for processing without the possibility of making changes to the text.
  
  ATTENTION: Please enter your text for the engraving carefully, as our employees are not responsible for checking if it is grammatically and otherwise correct. Placing the order is equal to accepting it for processing without the possibility of correcting the text.
• Preparing the visualisation yourself means accepting the engraving, and shortens the wait time for your engraved product. You can also receive a visualisation by contacting us on our email address – then, we need your written (in an email) acceptance before proceeding with the order.
• Check your inbox the day after ordering – there is a possibility that we’ve sent you an additional visualisation, if the text put in your order is not suitable: too long, too big etc. Trust our experience – sometimes what you see on screen, will not look as good in real life – it might not look good on the curved body of the pen, or the text you’ve used will not fit on the pen/plate.
